Client Case Study

In 2024, the Affordable Housing Alliance of Central Ohio (AHACO) partnered with Measurement Resources Company (MRC) to find out how residents really feel about Missing Middle Housing. Through a comprehensive survey of over 1,300 people, we uncovered powerful insights into public perception, policy barriers, and the lived experiences of those affected by the housing shortage. The findings were clear: the demand for change is strong, and the region is ready to embrace new solutions.

This case study explores the survey’s key takeaways, shedding light on how Missing Middle Housing could be a game-changer for Central Ohio’s housing market—and why now is the time to act.
