Measurement Resources Company Appoints Christy Farnbauch as Chief Executive Officer

Powell, Ohio — December 15, 2025 — Measurement Resources Company proudly announces the appointment of Christy Farnbauch as Chief Executive Officer, effective January 15, 2026. Farnbauch joins the firm with a distinguished record of leadership in the nonprofit sector, guiding organizations through transformation, growth, and complex challenges.

Most recently, Farnbauch served as Executive Director of The Contemporary Theatre of Ohio, where she successfully navigated the organization through the pandemic, spearheaded a major rebranding initiative, and championed programming that is artistically strong and deeply connected to community issues. Her ability to lead with vision and resilience earned the organization national recognition and strengthened its role as a cultural anchor.

At Measurement Resources Company, Farnbauch will lead efforts to expand the firm’s impact as a trusted partner for mission-driven organizations. She will oversee strategic initiatives that help nonprofits, foundations, and government agencies harness the power of data to improve performance, demonstrate outcomes, and drive social change. Under her leadership, the company will continue to innovate in areas such as impact measurement, evaluation strategy, and capacity building—ensuring clients have the tools and insights to make informed decisions and achieve measurable results.

Leadership Evolution

In 2022, Founder and President Sheri Chaney Jones transitioned from day-to-day leadership at Measurement Resources Company to launch its sister company, SureImpact, a software platform that helps mission-driven organizations automate impact tracking and communication. At that time, Charly Bauer was appointed CEO to support the company’s continued growth. With Bauer’s departure to lead Gateway Film Center, Christy Farnbauch steps in to advance MRC’s next phase of innovation and client impact.

A Partnership Rooted in Shared Values

Farnbauch’s appointment marks a full-circle moment in a professional relationship that spans more than 16 years. Jones first met Farnbauch in 2009 through a mutual colleague, Kerri Mollard, when both were launching consulting firms during the Great Recession. Jones had started Measurement Resources Company to help nonprofits measure impact and improve performance, while Farnbauch founded Strategic Links to provide grant writing, fundraising, and strategy services.

The two quickly bonded over their shared passion for service, strategy, and high-performing nonprofits. In the early years, Farnbauch became Measurement Resources Company’s top referral partner and collaborator, and together they supported numerous nonprofit organizations. In 2012, they co-led community workshops—Jones teaching how to create a data-driven culture and measure impact, and Farnbauch showing how to leverage that data to tell compelling stories and raise funds.

Beyond her consulting and executive leadership, Farnbauch has also served as a funder, contributing to initiatives through the Ohio Arts Council and the Hilliard Education Foundation. This experience gives her a unique perspective on the philanthropic ecosystem, deepening her understanding of how funding decisions shape nonprofit success.

Over the years, their collaboration continued through projects with the Ohio Arts Council and other initiatives, cementing a relationship built on trust and shared vision. “When Charly Bauer announced his departure as CEO, Christy was the first person I called,” said Jones. “Christy’s proven ability to lead organizations through change and her commitment to community impact make her the ideal leader for our next chapter. We are thrilled to welcome her and look forward to the innovation and growth she will bring to our clients and team.”

Farnbauch shared her excitement: “I’m honored to lead an organization dedicated to helping mission-driven entities maximize their impact. I look forward to building on the strong foundation Sheri and the team have created and advancing our shared vision for measurable change.”
