This month, Measurement Resources Company (MRC) is excited to highlight Nola Cline, our Marketing & Communications Manager. Nola plays a vital role in elevating our brand and sharing the incredible impact of our partners.
Nola leads the development and implementation of strategic marketing initiatives that help tell the story of our partners’ outcomes and the measurable difference MRC makes in the nonprofit and public sectors. From campaign planning to content creation, she ensures that our communications not only reflect our brand values but also amplify the voices of the organizations we serve.
A key part of Nola’s role at Measurement Resources is helping our partners share the story behind their data. She works closely with both the MRC research team and our clients to design engaging, accessible reports that highlight outcomes, inspire stakeholders, and support mission advancement. Nola has played an important role in showcasing the achievements of several mission-driven organizations, including; Women for Economic and Leadership Development (WELD), Dress for Success Columbus, Future Ready Five, among others.
Women for Economic and Leadership Development (WELD) is a national nonprofit that develops and advances women’s leadership to strengthen the economic prosperity of the communities they serve. Nola collaborated with WELD’s team and MRC researchers to design WELD’s 2024 Impact Report, which tells the story of WELD’s measurable influence across its national footprint. Featuring participant outcomes, program metrics, and powerful stories of transformation.
Dress for Success Columbus (DFS Columbus) is a Central Ohio nonprofit that empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing professional attire, career coaching, and development services. Nola worked with the DFS Columbus team and MRC researchers to design their 2024 Impact Report, showcasing outcomes, participant success stories, and the organization’s broader community impact.
Future Ready Five (FR5) is a Columbus-based collective impact initiative focused on ensuring that 100% of Franklin County children are fully prepared for kindergarten by 2030. Through partnerships with early childhood education providers, FR5 uses assessments and data to identify learning gaps, track progress, and guide interventions that promote equity and readiness.
Nola contributed to the design of the Kindergarten Readiness Collaboration: Mid-Year 2025 Report, developed in collaboration with the FR5 team and MRC researchers. The report presents assessment results from fall to winter, using tools such as BRIGANCE® and The Reading House® to illustrate progress and key readiness indicators across participating early learning sites.
Whether it’s through reports, promotional materials, or community engagement, Nola helps ensure that our partner’s stories are shared in a way that drives awareness and support.
Before joining the MRC team, Nola was a Marketing Coordinator at our sister company, SureImpact, where she contributed to the marketing efforts and supported sales enablement. Her passion for purpose-driven work and experience in mission-focused marketing made her a perfect fit for the MRC team.
A typical day in the life of Nola starts with a cup of iced coffee and a quick check of her email to organize meetings and set priorities. From there, she dives into design work—whether it’s a partner’s impact report, an executive summary, marketing materials, or social media content. Nola ensures that everything she creates helps our partners and team tell their data stories with clarity and purpose. She also supports outreach to prospective partners, collaborates with the MRC research team on a variety of reporting needs, and helps plan community engagement efforts—including Measurement Resources’ appearances at events and conferences. Each day brings a blend of creativity, strategy, and collaboration, all in service of amplifying the incredible work of mission-driven organizations.
Outside of work, Nola enjoys staying active through hot Pilates classes, taking walks in the nearby metro parks, and exploring new restaurants with her fiancé. She’s always up for binge-watching a good documentary and proudly embraces her role as a cat mom to her tabby, Jupiter.
